Racing Dirt Bikes has been my addiction for over 25 years.
It started in 1981 when I got my first MX bike and signed up for a local race. I
wasn't the fastest guy on the track (to say the least), but after a few bumps
and bruises (broken foot), I figured it out and turned expert at the end of the
year. I was a top 3 Expert rider in AMA District 34 for a number of years
before I decided to take a shot at Pro MX racing. From '87 to '89, I rode the
East Coast Nationals and some Supercross races. I got tired of sitting
around all day at the MX track waiting to ride a few 10 minute moto's, so I
tried my hand at Off-Road at the National Hare Scrambles in MA in 1989. I
signed up in the 200A Class and got 4th overall. In 1990, I attempted to race
the NETRA Hare Scrambles series but got discouraged by flat tires
(sometimes both), and decided to take some time off from racing to build
my business. This was a good move but racing is in my blood and before
long it reeled me back in. First NETRA Hare Scrambles (with Tech Tubes)
in the late 90's where I finished 5th overall in 1999, and then the GNCC
series full time in 2001. Below are last years results and some highlights
