10/22/08- Season Over!
It's been a great year and I'd like to thank everyone that helped me
make it happen, especially Maxxis Tires for their excellent products
and support, Suzuki Motorcycles for their support and excellent
Contingency Program, and everyone that supported my trip to the ISDE
in Greece by purchasing T- Shirts, and making donations. Once again
this year, my friend David Baldwin and the good guys of the Tidewater
Dirt Riders Club in Virginia came through with another generous
donation to help with my trip to the ISDE. Luck was on my side with
good results and minimal injuries, and I was able to add two more
National Class Championships in the GNCC and National Enduro
Series.
8/25/08- Xaipete (Hello) All! I'm on my way to Greece!
No, I haven't learned Greek, but Dave and Mandi are sitting next to me
with a handy book on the Greek language and we've just learned our
first word... the rest, it's all.... never mind. Anyway, all the fund raising,
training, and preparation is done and it's time to have some fun. We'll
arrive in Serres tomorrow afternoon. On Wednesday, we'll get rental
bikes, set them up and get some time on them for impound on Friday.
On the weekend, we'll walk the special tests, and hopefully get a few
minutes to do some sightseeing. Opening ceremonies are scheduled
for Saturday, and the big race starts on Monday. I want to thank
everyone who supported me by purchasing T- Shirts and making
donations. I appreciate your support!

Things went well at the ISDE Qualifier in New Jersey last weekend so

4/12/08- Pictures from Chile!
2/19/08- Time to get back to work!
It's been a cold and snowy winter in New York and I'm ready to head
down South and get back on the bike!
And about the ISDE... what an experience! I made a bunch of new
friends and met a lot of great people in Chile. The race consisted of
150 miles a day of sand, rocks, and dust for 5 days, and a deep sand
20 minute motocross test on day 6. Our team- Jafmar Racing,
including Jeff Fredette, and "Wild" Bill Rush, and myself, finished 16th
out of the 92 club teams, and I earned a Silver Metal for my efforts.
Thanks again to everyone who helped me make this happen by
buying t-shirts, and raffle tickets, and making donations. I really
appreciate your support! I'm looking forward to the upcoming qualifier
in New Jersey, and going to Greece in September!

Thanks to everyone who entered the drawing for the 25+ Pro Jerseys
to support GNCC riders, myself, Russell Bobbitt, Mandi Mastin, and
Jimmy Jarrett going to the ISDE in Chile, (esp. Carrie Jo for her very
generous donation!). And, congratulations to Dave Hall from
Alexandria, Ohio, the winner of all these great Jerseys.
10/2/07- I hit the Trifecta!
That was the word Jason Weigandt used to describe my year. On
Sunday, with a win in Yadkinville, NC, I wrapped up the Senior A Class
Championship in the AMA National Hare Scrambles Series. Earlier, I
had done the same in the GNCC, and AMA National Enduro Series.
This was my goal going into the season, and I couldn't have done it
without help from Maxxis Tires, IMS, Factory Connection, Dutchess
Recreational Vehicles, Cumberland Cycles, and the generous
Contingency Program offered by Suzuki Motorcycles. Thanks!
9/16/07- ISDE Update
I want to thank The Tidewater Dirt Riders Club and my good friend/
competitor, David Baldwin, both of Suffolk, VA, for their most generous
donation to help out my Chile 6-Days effort. The guys in the club don't
know me, but they stepped up to help me out just the same, and I
really appreciate it. I'd also like to thank all who purchased ISDE T-
Shirts, and for those who would like to, call or email, I have a few left.
8/7/07- We need your help!
Most of the expense involved in racing the I.S.D.E. each year is the
responsibility of the riders. Between entry and insurance fee's, renting
or shipping a bike, tires and parts, sending gear and tools, food,
flights and accommodations, the cost is somewhat overwhelming. But
you can help! Mazda North America, and Tracy Mazda in Tracy, CA are
donating a truck to be raffled off with proceeds to assist Team USA's
effort in Chile.
Also Team USA T- Shirts are being sold for $20 plus shipping (usually
$3-$4) to benefit our efforts in Chile. They are grey or Black with full
color 2007 ISDE Team USA logo's featuring 26X ISDE rider and all
around great guy Jeff Fredette. Email me at gncc441@aol.com to

6/8/07- We're going to Chile!
The 82nd annual ISDE is in Chile this year from November 12-17th-
and we're going to ride! Anyone interested in going along for support,
let me know. I should have most of the details from the AMA in a
couple of weeks.
